Blue Door Place Vendome

Wandering across the Place Vendome, making our way to the Ritz for tea, the sky overhead is almost exactly the same color blue as the doors that punctuate the facade of the grand hotel. Anticipation is sometimes the sweetest part of an experience, and so I remember those moments as we laughed and walked, just before we stepped inside, settled into velvet banquettes and the champagne was poured. A memory to capture and never lose.
